I flew into Frankfurt yesterday at 10:30am German time only to find that my luggage had not made the trip w/me and will arrive sometime this evening. I got home and went to the grocery store since there was NO food in the apartment and since today is Ephiphany everything is closed and I wouldn't have made it til Monday. Weather conditions are warm (at least for this region!) and the only snow is on top of the hills overlooking Basel and Weil. I'm in a longsleeved tee and still a bit toasty!!
It's great to be back, even though I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas break. It was great seeing those of you who I got to see, even if it was short lived. I hope to be back this summer if not for the entire time, at least for 2 weeks!
Off to do some lesson planning since school starts Monday!!
