Anyways, today each class had a special reader come in and read a story to the students. I was privileged to get Geoff Read, the pastor from my church here, to come and read 2 stories to the 2nd/3rd graders. Afterwards, the mayor of Weil am Rhein came and read a story to the entire school in the library. It was a great way to start off our morning! Here are a few pictures from the event:

Happy Dr. Seuss Day!
All week we've been celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday by starting March w/our Reading Month. Our kids have a goal of reading 17,000 pages by the end of the month. In the first four days back from break, they have successfully reached half their goal!! What a school of bookworms we have :)
