Time flies..(and other randomness)

It occured to me the other day that the students I am teaching this year were all born the year I graduated high school or my freshmen year of college...scary. I am trying to remember how long it has been since I was 10 or 11 and it really doesn't seem that long ago. I remember in 5th grade New Kids on the Block and Paula Abdul were the "cool" celebrities to be into. Now it's this High School Musical thing my kids can't stop talking about. I actually watched High School Musical w/Anne last semester and thought that if I were younger, I probably would have been just as obsessed with it. It is just amazing to me how fast time flies. I still can't believe I started college 10 years ago because it just doesn't seem like that much time has passed.

Good news: I'm teaching Drama to 2nd-8th and the one 8th grade boy that at first thought he'd be too cool for Drama now states that it's his favorite class! SCORE!
