What I don't have to do in 2008...

Last night I had one of the sweetest New Years Eve's I've had in a while. I went over to my aunt Reina's house and spent the New Year watching Auburn beat Clemson and then praying in the New Year with my cousins and their friends. One prayer that remained evident was that we should stop acting like slaves to God and remember that we are the children of a KING. I want 2008 to be a year of me coming to really understand that I don't have to "try and be a better Christian" b/c there's no way that I can do that. The more I try to be better for Jesus, the more I will fail. It is comforting to know that God loves me no matter what I do and how much I screw up.

Here's to 2008--the year of living in Christ and not being better for Christ.
