Since living over here the last two weeks, I've become somewhat acquainted again with the German language. Our language class should begin in the next month or so but Anne and I have already started working on some phrases and words. And since most of the people in the city of Weil don't speak a lot of English, we've had to speak a sort of "Deutschlish" as we like to call it (a mixture of Deutsch aka German and English). Anyways, here are a couple of my favorite words and phrases so far...
Tschuss - bye!
Wunderbar- (pronounced Voonderbar!) -wonderful
Schöne Tag! - Have a nice day
Gleichfalls - same to you
Genau- exactly
