Lisbon Day 3

I know I said I would post pics but I will do it when I get home :) Please forgive me!

Ok so today Anne & I went on another sight-seeing tour and saw a TON of stuff. The Lisbon jail, the Spanish square, lots of cathedrals, and over a dozen monuments. The tour lasted 2 hours and when we were finished it was way past lunchtime! We grabbed lunch at a snack bar and I just picked something on the menu (it was all in portugese) which turned out to be beef, scrambled eggs, and french fries...quite the interesting match! It was good, but a tad on the salty side. After lunch we took a boat to the other side of Lisbon and went up to the Cristo Dei. It is the statue that is really famous in Rio de Janeiro and back in the 50s they reconstructed one over here. Anyways, the top of the statue was closed from yesterday until Feb 24 but we did get in some good viewing sites!!

When we got back to the main side, it was after 5 and so we decided to go find Pizza Hut and have good ol' American pizza for dinner!! It was a good bus ride there but so worth it! We got back to our hostel a few minutes ago and are about to go to bed as tomorrow we have quite a long day trip planned to Sintra, Portugal.
